Yes, I have been busy lately but I did come up with the idea and layout for my next piece, and today I had the chance to get started. It's of a guy in the rain on a city street at night. Yes the wetness, the lights, the reflections, I expect some frustrations for sure, but if it goes well I'll really enjoy the piece. Above is a close up of the face in it's initial stage. I think I got the idea partly from the Cirque Eloise show, "Rain" I saw recently and partly from childhood memories of slides my Dad took of downtown Plattsburgh at night in the rain.
