On The Drawing Board: Up Close

It's so nice to have a large face to work on. Being able to really add in the multitude of colors in just the lips alone is a joyful change of pace. I can use my fingers more rather than scratch them in with a pencil.

Just curious what type of illustration board you work on? I'm assuming that, as opposed to paper or canvas, so please do correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Hey Adam, I do use paper, pastel paper. I have at times used illustration board for black and white pieces. I have tried pastel board but the surface was too textured for my taste.
