This is a very sexy guy ... I've just noticed your 1000 Words short story competition ... any updates on this? My co-writer and me are working on a story and want to submit it ASAP, but of course, we're wondering whether this project will go ahead. Can you post an update on how many (good) submissions you got? And - keep up the great work. :)

So far I have a dozen submissions, and am aware of many others that are 'in the works'. The cut off is May 1st so there is still quite a bit of time. Most of what I have received has been pretty good but I'll be judging the submissions against each other to select what goes into the book.
