on the drawing board: dreaming of a white Christmas

Tis the season perhaps, but for some reason I'm enamored by the idea of using white as the primary 'color' in this piece.  I put color in quotes, because is white a color or truly the lack there of?  But actually when rendering something white you need to use a myriad of colors. 

Being mid December, all the brush and weeds are gone or bare and the trees have lost their leaves so everything is exposed and well... kinda dirty looking.  I am awaiting the first snow, that blanket of white that covers and makes it all look pristine.  That is where my motivation in this piece is coming from.
