New Release: "Prince of Tides"
You pick out your swimsuit, fill your pack with the essentials - sunscreen, phone, snacks, water, and for some perhaps lube - and then set out on your long, hot trek across the salt marsh. It's not an easy hike, but when you finally arrive and climb up and over the burning sands of the dunes, your journey is rewarded by a beautiful isolated beach on a gorgeous day, a relaxed atmosphere to share with your fellow gays. Swimsuits optional.
The original is available for immediate purchase, but as part of my upcoming show, it will remain with the Lyman-Eyer Gallery through July 23rd.
Limited edition Gallery and Studio prints are available directly through BREYETTE.COM at the special Day of Issue prince until midnight EDT tomorrow July 3rd.

New Pastel Painting: "Tie the Knot"
| It almost feels like a cosmic alignment. My latest piece celebrates a sexy beginning to Summer as well as a playful twist on gay marriage, and it turned out that the first full week of Summer saw the Supreme Court grant federal recognition of same-sex marriages by overturning DOMA while their action on Prop 8 resumed same-sex marriages in California. Happy Summer! The original as well as limited edition Gallery and Studio prints are available for immediate purchase at BREYETTE.COM. | |
Footnote: So those who have asked about a self portrait ...those are both me. So as not to have the figures look like twins I made additional alterations to the figure in turquoise. | |

Discreet at the Beach
PROVINCETOWN — Seashore authorities say there’s too much public sex going on in the dunes and on the beaches, and they are enlisting the town of Provincetown’s help now in their efforts to curb the activity. According to the Cape Cod Times, the number of complaints concerning public sex in the Provincetown and Truro parts of the national park has more than tripled over the past decade. "It's a growing issue, both from the number of complaints and the number of areas doing this activity," Seashore superintendent George Price told the paper.
I think there's become a lack of discretion, while this activity has been going on for years, the current rise in complaints has more to do with the boldness of the activity. So if the mood hits you while enjoying the sun, sea and sand remember that despite it's remoteness and it's rep as the gay beach it's still a public park. Be discreet or else the crackdown will become heavy and harsh.

Back from the Beach

We had a great time in Provincetown! The weather was superb, so we spent middays at the beach enjoying the sun, sand and 'cool' ocean waves. The remoteness of the beach seems to entice many guys to strip down completely and 'frolick' with each other. We, as you see, kept our swimsuits on.
I'll post a bit more about gallery show and the trip soon.
