Spooky New Release: "Bump In the Night"
For lovers of the great outdoors nothing is better
than getting together with your best bud and pitching a tent under the
stars. Sure, trekking through the woods, drinking from a stream, sharing
stories around a campfire are all part of the appeal. But this time,
as you crawl into your tent and slip into your sleeping bags, you really
hope to be woken by a bump in the night.
The first day of Autumn has arrived, which means one of my favorite holidays is right around the corner... Hallowe'en!
While I feel that last year's All the Best Parts is my goriest Hallowe'en piece ever, this year's Bump in the Night has got to be my spookiest!
The Original as well as limited edition Gallery and Studio prints are available for purchase at the Special First Day Price through Midnight ET tomorrow.

on the drawing board: scaredy cats
I find the human face amazing, and rendering it equally challenging, but in a fun way. I am always amazed how the subtlest change in the arc or angle of a line can change an expression from say, curious surprise to panic. It's sometimes difficult to figure out what needs to change to get just the right emotion I'm after. I even spend time looking in the mirror making faces at myself trying to figure out what I need to do.
