I've gotten my figures well established.  I'm really trying to capture that Tom of Finland look and get the sexual energy revved up.

Scent of Gay Art

Etat Libre d'Orange presents Tom of Finland the fragrance. Inspired by the muscle and leather images by Touko Laaksonen (1920-1991) better known as Tom of Finland. The scent is described as fresh water, clean, like a shaving from a cake of soap. Notes of aldehydes and lemon along with hints of suede, vanilla and saffron are among the aromas found within.

A series of Tom's images are imprinted on the interior of the box. A limited edition which includes a press brochure, Tom of Finland tank top, and a Tom of Finland Foundation badge can be order now through March 31st 2008, from the Etat Libre d'Orange website.

WeHo/LA Erotic Art Fair

The 13th Annual Erotic Art Fair Weekend, presented by the Tom of Finland Foundation is quickly approaching. This years festival has been moved up by a few weeks from the traditional mid October date and will be held September 21-23. It's also in a new location, the West Hollywood Auditorium.

While I won't be attending, it's logistically too difficult to transport myself and my stuff out to LA , I have in the past participated in the east coast version held in NYC in the spring. This years NYC Erotic Art Fair was cancelled. Hopefully it will be back in '08. The Erotic Art Fair's are great opportunities to meet your favorite artists and discover new talents.
