My last work was a full frontal so I've done a 180 and am doing a full backal? ..dorsal? ...rectal??? What ever it's called I'm looking forward to diving in.

New Painting: "Long Hard Day"
Stripping off the clothes, pouring a beer or cocktail, planting the ass in the favorite chair, or slipping into a hot bath... there are a multitude of indulgences we partake in to relieve the stress of a Long hard day.
The Original, as well as limited edition Gallery and Studio prints are available at the special day of release pricing through Midnight ET tomorrow.

on the drawing board: a close erection
Here is a quick shot of what I'm working on, though I'm not showing the whole piece. It's been a while since I've done a full frontal with an erection. While I don't think it's required that one needs to show erections to be considered an erotic artist, people do tend to put me in that category and though I haven't featured them often I'm more than happy to celebrate that part of the masculine mystique.

New Work: "Russian Winter"
The term Russian winter is often used to describe situations of prolonged dreariness, bitter cold, and extreme hardship. And yet, people endure. Within themselves they discover a secret strength. Or perhaps there is some reward that makes it all worthwhile, like bracing the snow and winter winds just to share a warming kiss.
After surviving many dreary decades under Soviet oppression, Russians are experiencing a new wave of anti-protest and anti-gay laws that seem poised to send their liberties and new freedoms back into the deep freeze. But love can't be stopped by the laws of small minded men no more than it can be stopped by the force of a Russian Winter.

New Release: "Sleigh Bells"
It's Christmas Eve and you're snowed in. Luckily you've got hot cocoa, a crackling fire and someone special to keep you warm, so you don't really mind that it's your turn to fetch more logs outside. Hearing a distant jingle, you look up into the moonlit sky and see a magically, wonderful site...
Limited Edition prints and greeting cards of "Sleigh Bells" are available from breyette.com.

on the drawing board: the under beard
My method of doing beards is to fill in the area with the appropriate dark colors and shading first, then add the individual hairs on top of that. Don't try to add hairs on top of regular skin tones, like the rest of the face. Of course this is for faces that are large enough on the paper where the hairs would be discernible.

on the drawing board: just a kiss
Not a lot going on in this pic so there's not much I can show without giving the whole image away. What's got me excited about this piece is rendering the effects I have in mind that will give it a slightly different look. But that's not really something I can show until it's done.

New Release: "Ghouls Gone Wild"
Each with a devilish grin, they knew it was time to take a bite out of this Hallowe'en party. The vampire had been wanting to sink his teeth into his handsome mummy all night. Time to make a move and see if he could raise the dead. A little tug here, a little unwrapping there, and long before dawn they were both a couple of ghouls gone wild. After all, getting undressed for Hallowe'en can sometimes be more fun than getting dressed up for it!
Ghouls Gone Wild is my first post-show work. In addition to the Original, limited edition Gallery and Studio prints are available for purchase at the special day of release pricing through Midnight ET tomorrow.

on the drawing board: back from the dead
I know, it's been quite some time since my last post. I was in the scramble to finish pieces for my solo exhibit, then preparing for it, then just needed some down time. Well now I'm back and it seems fitting that the piece I'm starting, after more than a month away from the drawing board, features a mummy (well a hot guy dressed as a mummy) a creature that returns to life after a long dry spell. Of course this is also my Halloween piece.

New Release: "Summers At the Lake"
Ever since they were little, the boys had reunited
each summer up at the lake, their families both having places there.
From July through August, they would venture through the woods, camping
out, canoeing, and of course getting into a bit of mischief. Now all
grown up, they still manage to steal away, leaving all their cares
behind as they partake one of their few long standing traditions, a
refreshing skinny dip during summers at the lake.
The original will be in my upcoming show, Under the Sun at the Lyman-Eyer Gallery. While it is available for immediate purchase, it must remain with the gallery through the end of August.
Limited edition Gallery and Studio prints are available through BREYETTE.COM at the special day of release price through Midnight ET tomorrow.
