Sometimes times I have to take selfies to help me compose my pieces. It's something that many artists do. They don't qualify as self portraits really, but I am -or at least parts of me- do appear is some of my works.

Winter Flowers
With winter in high gear things look rather bleak outside, but inside my amaryllis is in full bloom. I took this snapshot of it today. The flowers began opening just a few days ago. It was a Christmas gift from my friend Andrea. At the time, just about six weeks ago, it was just bulb.
